Dan has driven several cars in his drag
racing career-here's a look!
This is Dan's current race car, a 1969
Camaro purchased in February, 2003 from race friend Ryan Smith. Dan raced
it once with the 307 chevy motor it had in it. He then purchased a 327
chevy motor for his second race with it. He is hard at work restoring the
car including complete insulation, carpet and interior replacement.
Without the exhaust, the car has run a 13.94.
This is the Chevelle-well, actually it's a 1971 Chevy Malibu made into an SS clone. We purchased it at Super Chevy show in March of 2000. Dan ran this in Team Firebird street class in 2001. It has a 330 hp 350 crate motor, 750 double pumper Holley, Turbo 350 tranny, 12 bolt rear end, 373 gears and 28 X 10.5 Mickey Thompson ET Street tires. It's best has been a 14.10 e.t. It used to double as Leah's daily driver. We sold it to a nice family in May of 2002. What happened to that Monte next to it?

This is the other '69 Camaro SS. Purchased in Oct of 2000, Dan spotted this beauty just a few streets away from our home. The fellow had just put it out in his yard to sell, we were the first and last to look. This picture is from Nov 2000 at SIR. Dan raced this Camaro at only this race, only one day. It's currently motor-less. It's an awesome Camaro, waiting for another day in the sun. Dan is collecting parts to make it a Motion clone Camaro

The 1973 Nova with a 1972 grill. Dan bought this car in 1999 from his friend Jim. Dan spent most of '97-'98 saving for the 502 c.i. crate motor that rests in the Nova. The Nova ran 10.80's with a small tire and slapper bars. Dan turned the driving chores over to his hired gun-brother Travis in 2001. It's now in the backyard.

This photo is the 1995 final in Super X (12.99) class at Division 7 race at Firebird International Raceway. Dan had a lot of success in his 1967 Chevy Stepside which he got when he turned 16. After sitting in the backyard for several years, the Stepside was back as Dan's race vehicle in 2002. It now belongs to Dan's brother Travis.
For a brief time, Dan drove for Guy Price. Yep, Dan was a Hired Gun for a Price prior to Steve Von. Dan was called away to work in Florida and couldn't commit to driving. In his brief time in this '70 half ton, Dan ended up in a TV info-commercial for Arizona Automotive Institute.
Think that's all- No way! Dan owns two '64 El Caminos, a '71 Vega Wagon and an '81 Chevy Blazer.
