Re-doing the Back Half of
Leah's 1969 Camaro
Nov 20, 2003 -  April 2, 2005
Complete construction and design done by Travis Collins
Welder - Dan Collins

Thanksgiving week, Work done Nov 25-29, 2003

The transformation into a race car is taking place.

It took Travis a little while to figure out how to do the sub-frame connectors without cutting through the seat mount.

But eventually, being the wiz he is, he figured it out.

In the middle you can see the drive shaft loop sorta, the loop itself is too tight to bend in his bender.  Drive shaft loop now on order!

With the rear end and wheel tubs out, you can really see the top notch design.

He had to come up with a way to mount the body, so what better way than to mount the rear bumper at the same time.

No, those NOS bottles are not for Leah's car!

A little better shot of the main hoop and back bars.

Once the drive shaft loop is in place, along with the ladder bar cross member, it's gonna be a real pain in the a** to get the drive shaft out.
